The situation in Peru is getting worse quickly. Dozens are dying everyday from COVID19 in Cusco. We are the only Jews left in town. All the other Jews have already fled. Next week, there is one last special repatriation flight. We need to catch this flight! Please, help us leave Peru! We stayed here for the Jewish tourists and the Israelis that live in Cusco. It has been very difficult for all of us. Here, the army patrols the streets. There's a complete lockdown and living normally is impossible. B"H, during this time, we hosted some Israelis that had remained and were able to help them experience Yiddishkeit. We even brought a lost and lonely Jew to a Jewish burial. This shlichus gave us strength to stay until now. Now, the security officials tell us we need to leave Peru.
